Digestive Enzymes Testimonials
Prior to hearing about U.P.C.'s Digestive Enzymes, I had to have a blood test performed at George Mason University to fulfill my new student requirements. The nurse notified me that I was border line anemic which made absolutely no sense to me at all. After all, my diet was rich in iron to begin with. And so to "correct" this problem, I - like many other women, I'm sure - began taking additional iron tablets. A while later, a second unrelated blood test informed me the same news: I was extremely low in iron. Of course, I was perplexed as to why all that iron I was eating had made no effect on my iron count. Diane McCabe-Smith - Paralegal, housewife, fitness competitor Approximately one year later at a NOVA Galaxy Training camp, I took the opportunity to have my blood tested by a company called U.P.C. They claimed to be able to "see" problems in individual's blood. A drop of blood was taken from me and my blood's contents became as large as life on a TV screen. I purposely didn't mention anything about my previously-reported low iron count, since I thought if they can really "see" problems then they would be able to see that I am iron deficient. To my surprise, a U.P.C. representative told me that I had "target" cells: indicators of an iron deficiency. The problem, though, wasn't that my iron intake was deficient. Rather, it's just that once the iron was in my system, it wasn't being utilized correctly. Bottom line is that no matter how much iron I was taking, my body was only utilizing a small percentage of it. The result was that I was iron-deficient. I had seen studies and literature all pointing to the health benefits of digestive enzymes, particularly their usefulness in helping the body absorb and use nutrients. But I was hesitant to try them. How did I know they would work for me. Well, my seemingly insolvable iron problem was enough to convince me to try U.P.C.'s Digestive Enzymes. And the results speak for themselves. Since that time, I've had more independent blood tests done and each time I've been told that my iron count is "through the roof". I've also had subsequent blood checks with U.P.C., and, not surprisingly, I no longer have those target cells. I'm convinced that U.P.C.'s digestive enzymes are a quality product, and, more importantly, one that actually works! One final word about U.P.C.'s Digestive Enzymes. They are plant enzymes, not animal enzymes like so many other enzyme formulas on the market today. Plant enzymes have been proven to be more effective than animal derived enzymes, since plant-derived enzymes are capable of working in a much wider pH and heat range, like the one found in the body's digestive system. I recommend U.P.C.'s Digestive Enzymes without any reservation to anyone who is interested in improving their health."
